Faction Rules of Engagement

Post by Foxy »

1. Rules of Engagement

The Rules of Engagement are binding for all gangs and factions within the server, both official and unofficial, and are to be strictly adhered to at all times. Whether considering the formation or membership of a gang or faction, it is imperative to thoroughly review these regulations to gain a comprehensive understanding of operational protocols.
  • Violations of these rules will not be tolerated and may result in administrative actions such as imprisonment or faction dissolution for severe infractions.
  • Even minor transgressions, particularly by leadership or influential members, could lead to factional repercussions, including dissolution or disavowal for unofficial groups.
Should you have any suggestions or queries regarding these rules, please feel free to contact me via private message on the forums.
2. Methods and Protocols for Gang Operations

Drive-by Attacks
  • Weapons must be visibly drawn in a roleplay context. Failure to do so will be considered a breach of roleplay standards.
  • Utilize the appropriate in-game commands to simulate leaning out of the vehicle window while firing. Emote commands should accompany this action, detailing the weapon's deployment.
  • Engagements should be brief and focused. There should be no secondary engagements or extended searches for targets once the initial assault has concluded.
  • Each drive-by attack must be preceded by a legitimate in-character motive. Hostility alone does not justify a drive-by assault.
  • Limit drive-by attacks on any faction to once per hour to maintain balance and roleplay integrity.
  • Engaging targets on foot after a drive-by is strictly prohibited and will be treated as a separate hostile action.
3. Organized Firearms and Tactics

Organized Firearm Offensives
  • Limit organized firearm assaults against a faction to once every hour to prevent excessive aggression.
  • Respect the autonomy of targeted individuals. Coercion to simulate permanent asset loss, such as property or vehicles, is strictly prohibited.
  • Avoid provoking retaliatory actions within six hours of a prior organized firearm assault. Proactive engagement in hostile encounters may result in roleplay stagnation and is discouraged.
4. Conflict Resolution

Gang Warfare and Brawling
  • Combatants are prohibited from utilizing firearms during gang wars or brawls, ensuring that engagements remain non-lethal.
  • Respect the emote-based signals denoting incapacitation. Avoid inflicting mortal harm during skirmishes to foster a spirit of fair play.
  • Limit brawls with a single faction to once per hour to prevent excessive hostilities and promote diversity in conflict resolution methods.
  • Maintain a proportional balance between firearm assaults and brawls to preserve the server's immersive atmosphere and prevent overreliance on lethal engagements.
  • Encourage dialogue and negotiation over violent confrontation wherever possible to maintain a dynamic and engaging roleplay environment.
5. Faction Activity Regulations

Activity Regulations
  • Faction leadership must maintain a consistent presence within the server to ensure operational efficiency and continuity. Inactive leaders risk administrative intervention, including faction dissolution or leadership replacement, if prolonged absence is noted without valid justification.
  • Faction membership should reflect an active and engaged player base, particularly in light of server population dynamics. Persistent inactivity, particularly during peak player hours, may necessitate administrative intervention to maintain faction vitality and server balance.
  • Vehicle Regulations mandate the prohibition of sports cars within factional ranks to maintain realism and immersion, and discretion in displaying gang colors on vehicles to uphold roleplay integrity.
  • Violations of vehicle regulations may result in administrative actions, including vehicle confiscation or faction dissolution, to uphold server realism and immersion.
6. General Guidelines for Gang Operations

  • Ensure that both participating factions have a minimum of three active members online, exercise restraint before retaliating, respect engagement outcomes, prioritize narrative development, adhere to territorial boundaries, and exercise restraint in response to provocations.
  • Violations of these guidelines may result in administrative actions to maintain server balance and roleplay integrity.
